No. A Pivot Journey is a guided trial run designed to help you experience what everyday life feels like in a potential relocation destination. While exploration is part of the journey, the focus is on clarity—not sightseeing.
Pivot Journeys are for individuals and families who are curious about living abroad and want to explore intentionally before making a long-term decision. You don’t need to be ready to relocate—just open to learning what fits.
Yes. Select journeys are designed with families in mind, including teenagers. Participants may bring children ages 16 and above to join the experience. Please note that all minors remain the full responsibility of their parent or legal guardian at all times, and The Pivot Club does not assume liability for supervision, care, or conduct during the trip. This allows everyone to observe how education, community, and daily life may feel in a new environment. In fact, this is the safest route for moms and kids as we vet neighborhoods, drivers, and housing.

Traditional tours focus on attractions and schedules. Pivot Journeys focus on daily rhythms, local routines, cultural context, and personal reflection—so you return with insight, not assumptions.
Groups are intentionally kept small to allow flexibility, meaningful conversations, and a more personal experience.
Each journey includes guided daily-life experiences, cultural context, neighborhood exploration, reflection time, and support throughout the trip. Flights and personal expenses are not included unless stated otherwise. You can pay our packages in installments.
